Banana Peel
Putting the “ban” back in bananahhhh.
Banana’s inspiration comes from the absurdity of the human condition to which she has completely surrendered herself. “After all,” she is quoted as saying, “what else is a girl to do in a post-Kantian, post-Copernican, post-Newtonian world??? Wink, wink.”
Peel questions why humanity should be adrift in a foggy sea of postmodern cynicism and anomie when there are feathers, all sorts of feathers. “Armed with a hot glue gun,” she confides, “I feel better equiped to escape my temporal-spacial cage.” Peels (ineffectual) therapist, Dr. Schadenfreude notes, “I am considering an increase in my rates and adding a mild astringent to my evening cleansing routine.” The (unavailing) Dr. adds that, “while I have what can be categorized as a “normal” complexion, I do have trouble with an oily T-zone.”
