Lauri Costigan, a.k.a. Ophelia Coeur de Noir, is a San Francisco based performer, director and teacher with over 25 years of experience. She has performed on stages from San Francisco and New York to Australia. A career dancer, her training includes classical ballet, jazz, tap, hiphop, and Hawaiian dance. Lauri specializes in dance from the 1920’s - 1960’s, including swing, Charleston, cancan, and burlesque. She performs with San Francisco’s Bottoms up! Burlesque collective and with the dance entertainment group Retro Cabaret. Most recently, she won the title of “Best Pickup Artist” at the 2007 Miss Exotic World Pageant in Las Vegas.
